I got a bit ahead of myself in building the forward engine bearer struts.I forgot to make allowance for the wing's angle of attack .As it sits on the ground,the engine bearers are level and the engine's center line and prop forms a 90 deg angle to the ground.The front struts are easily modified however,they will just have to be shortened up a bit.

Sorry about the blurry pic but you get the idea of what I am talking about.The next step will be to construct the undercarriage assembly, starting with the two main beams in the front that holds the pilot's seat,control column and the nose wheel.

The two halves would then be joined together and the base built around that.
