I just received a new kit of the Ansaldo A.1 Balilla made by Karaya of Poland. This is the first in a series of 1/48 resin kits of WW1 and inter war kits, and is a great first offering. It consists of beautifully cast resin parts with no air bubbles to be seen, and very thin wings, control surfaces and fuselage halves. The struts all have copper wires inside them for stregnth. there is a nice photoetched sheet by Part with interior details, wheel spokes and radiator grill. Decals are provided for 6 different versions, 2 italian, 2 Polish & 2 Bolshevik. They are beautifully printed with authentic colors and great squadron markings.
for information on ordering it go to:

I will try to post some images of the parts & markings.
