All well and good, and the Morane looks nice too, but some really new stuff would be encouraging. Re-issuing the the same kits over and over again with different decal options extends the commercial life of the product; it also reduces the modellers scope for originality.

And one of the Major Japanese manufactures does this all the time. And it isn't Tamyia.

Tamiya are welcome to churn out FW190s 'till the cows come home (a Spitfire 8/9 would be nice, the Hasegawa kit is pants) because I won't be buying any and looking for a scheme that will make it different from everybody elses, only to find the same markings on the next re-release. Meanwhile, back at the ranch, a Halberstadt two seater would be good, or a Snipe, or a SSW DIV, or a FE8, or a SPAD XII, or...you get the picture

They also do a SE5a and a bristol, but which of them is as available or as buildable or as affordable as the East European stuff? Thank God for Roden, pull your socks up Eduard.

yes- right out of the new Glen Merrill Jasta 5 book, vol 2 ,from Albatros Productions. Some of this scheme is conjectural, but the airplane does show up in photos.

Have I tried to make decals for this bird with my ink jet! Won't work! So this is a dream come true to me! This is really great. Why should wwII American bomber builders have all the fun anyway!
Yours
Mikko
