It must be close to Christmas

Just got the Squadron 2005 catalog in the mail. With all the great WWI aircraft kits how can a liberty ship be kit of the year? This is me on my soap box! Yeah I know you thought I'd be taller....

Swings and roundabouts...

The Hi Tech AEG was Kit of the Year a couple of years ago.

Everyone gets a go.

And a Liberty Ship, dare I say it, is a much under- kitted but important subject.....

maybe we should organize a model co-op? As a business we could purchase kits for wholesale?

Forget the ships, Stephen, notice how many car models are creeping into their catalog and especially monthly supplements? What's my world coming to? I guess what ever pays the bills!

Let's see... the Revell Budweiser Monte Carlo?...or the Roden Bristol Fighter? It's a no brainer!

Salute,
Steve

Kit of the year?

Does anyone doubt that this award is purchased by the model manufacturer? How else to explain its history.

If I had the cash I might try to see what happens when you bash the Roden Brisfit with the Revell Budweiser Monte Carlo. Hmmmmmmmmm...

Hey Terry_Crisp; Since I posted the query it seems that most of the activity for me has been done by PM & e-mails. I know that I have had about 42 inquiries and have done about 36 trades. I just picked up a DML / Dragon MvR kit for about 10.00USD (No Bust.) Swapping and trading I have picked up 10 Roden, 6 Eduard and 4 DML / Dragon kits just this past year. Some complete others were basket cases, but parts is parts!

I have been culling through my decals and am getting rid of some Lozenge. Have to Give Bob of Buckle fame a shot at them for his beauteous buckles.
I also have picked up a copy of the Jack Herris, Pfalz Book for about 50.00USD. I can honestly say that everyone from the 'Drome' that I have dealt with have been great fellows. We all have profited from some good deals. Though it seems that it has been on an as need basis and doesn't take up much memory here.

A very unique case of AMS that...a strain not often noted. we callz it "Basher Syn-Drome." Though obviously "extremus" there is medication for it! My RX is 1 16oz 3 shot,Venti, Chaiz Latte, with low foam. Sort of a liquid pumkin pie.

Gentlemen,
Does any one have a spare set of interplane struts fro the Revell 1/28 Camel? I finally picked up one and the kit was short. I know that they are too long and need replacing but I hate to mess with the fittings on the end.
TIA,
Terry
