[QUOTE=StephenLawson][COLOR=DarkRed]While there are no suprises in the plastic sprues provided the real gems of this kit are the detailed photoetch cowling panels and decal sheet. With the photoetch you have combinations of new pieces and the extras not seen except in their aftermarket fret for the Alb. D.III. The pilot's harness straps are finally set at angles that is more conducive to its application. That is the wide attachment points outside the seat and the narrower connections to the shoulder / backstrap. The wiring harness for the Bosch starting magneto is prime. The red Jasta 5 tail surface borders are provided in the decal sheet or you can used the express mask to paint them to your heart's content. The two types of stenciling seen for the datum are present as is the normal or bold stenciling for the D. 2958/17.

I am surprised that Eduard went to this much trouble for this kit! Just another reason Eduard is the Finest WW1 Model Manufacturer in the World! The Engine Panels sound really interesting! I should have one of these kits on the way, Matt? I am looking forward even more to its arrival! Thanks for posting the Info!
