Any of the Gotha bombers.

Hi All;
I'd like to see a good quality Ansaldo SVA in mainstream injected 1/48. And maybe some of the Ansaldo variants - SV10 and the floatplane too. Looks like a job for Roden!
And in 1/72 since we have Gotha's, HP's and Staakens etc already, how about some largish Capronis? IMHO Italian WW1 aircraft are much underkitted....
And also since the HiTech kit is mostly unavailable how about a new kit of the AEG GIV and some other AEG variants? I don't mind if its 1/72 - that is a better scale for larger aircraft anyway....
And.... how about a new DH-10? - the old Aurora kit is way past it....
And a Blackburn Kangaroo......
And a.....
And a.....
and an AVRO Bison (I know, I know, its not WW1!)
and a Short Sunderland Mk V (oops how did that get in there? )
And as a special request.....
Can we have another 1/48 Fokker DVII*?
I'm sure the market can squeeze one more in with Roden, Eduard, n' all.....
Regards
Neil
*I'm sure there is some obscure Jasta that hasn't been covered yet......

Most wanted list (in 1/48 scale of course)
Allied: SPAD XII with markings for Biddle's 13th Aero grim reaper!
Axis: AGO C.I - need a good looking German pusher - a P-38 with 2 wings!

Blue Max for both is my understanding. I hope it's true too.

I thought 1/72nd was the only scale around, and the rest were evil rumors meant to drive people to the dark side?
In any event, all in 1/72nd:
Nieuport 'V-strutter' series, either Eduard or Roden
Salmson 2A.2
Breguet 14
Paul-Schmidt PS.7
An accurate and correct SPAD XI/XVI
Eduard to correctly scale their recently released and new-tool Morane-Saulner Type N.
Then again, most things French have been sorely ignored in all scales.

Neil,
I can't speak to the accuracy, (but it HAS to be better than their "Albatros DIII- which has a DV fuselage!) but SMER does have an Ansaldo in 1/48. I have one, and the mold quality isn't bad for what it is. (Cheap kit, remake of some 70's vintage something-or-other with molded in marking positions, overly heavy panel lines, etc.) It's not particularly detailed, but the fit isn't bad and it doesn't have a lot of flash or flaws. It's on my table at home waiting for me to get ambitions on the woodgrain detailing- I'm putting off tackling it.

Hi Matt,
Well said and I'll be with you on this .
Don't forget : an accurate Hanriot HD 1, one or two Bleriot XI, a trio of MS, a lot of Caudron and a plethora of Farman. All in the only true scale : 1/72nd.
Best regards from Belgium.
Philippe

Day dreaming...
Greetings, all!
In 1/48, I'd like to see a Salmson, a new Fokker Dr.I (up to today's standards), a Gotha and a Handley Page 0/400 all in injected plastic. Yeah, I know Eric at Copper State makes a stunning 1/48 Gotha (got it). However, I have real concerns about the weight of those resin wings! And the chance of warping. Injection molding would be the way to go.
Regardless, with Roden and Eduard's ambitious schedules for this year, I'm sure we will be rewarded with some fine kits to keep us very busy. At least the Dr.I is on Eduard's list.
Tom
