1/16 Mercedes

Greetings all;

JohnReid's fine diorama thread has fostered some interest in Ken Foran's 1/16th brass builds and his resin kit of the Mercedes D.III aü for the early Fokker D.VII and all Albatros D.Va factory installations. On the WWI modeling Page a fellow modeler has truly done justice to the resin kit.

Stephen -
Martin Wolf, whose work you referred to, told me he used the antique covering that came with a 1/4 scale Albatros DVa kit from Proctor Enterprises. It is made by Coverlite and is called Coverlite Super Antique. Proctor sells it separately and Tower Hobbies sells it for a little less. Google should find you either or both of them and probably several other sources.

HTH,
Mike
