Thanks for posting the link Ross. Also the picture of my SE5a. I have trouble posting pics here due to size! I enjoyed the Fokker article and also the First Look on the Aeroclub kit!

That was an interesting article. Being a rookie to aviation models everything is like Christmas to me. However, and once again I am new so it may be typical, I was let down that the article on the 1/72nd SHORT 184 did not have a suggested retail price, AND (and it's a big and) how does a fighter that is FAMOUS for firing torpedos NOT HAVE TORPEDOS?

So,
1. Does anyone know where I can find the kit?
2. Does anyone know how much the kit is (if I can find one on the net I would imagine I can find the price, but I might as well ask).
3. Does anyone know where I can find a 1/72nd scale torpedo, and instructions on how to install said torpedo.

I don't know that in the game AERODROME 1.1 this fighter will do very well, but it will LOOK GOOD doing it

Thanks everyone

I did the review of this kit.
I bought it from http://www.aeroclub-models.com/index.html the producer.
It cost £15.74.

This plane didn't always carry a torp. It depended on the type of mission it was flying.

The one that found the German Fleet at Jutland was just doing that looking for the German Fleet. It was not out to attack the fleet. The kit allows you to build this one too.

Thanks for the information regarding the kit, but thank you more for the bit about its history. That's the best part of this site. Something about "odd" things with models gets my attention, that's why I wanted to know about the Torp. That would just be a fun model.

Thanks again,
