Nicely done. Reading the article the builder did emphasize on the Fokker. But how could he ever place the landing gear on that position???

Mike Grant's DH.2....

Eduard's 1/48 DH-2 (Profipack version), finally finished after 3 months of frustration. Not because it's a bad kit (it's a beautiful kit), I just kept stalling because of its complex nature.......... The DH-2 should be appearing in article form in a future issue of MAI.

Absolutely beautiful! The DH rigging is well executed. Thanks for posting Ross, Mike should be proud

I got one on the shelves. Each time I see a finished one, I get the feeling it is going to be on there for a longer time
But this is a very nice built!!!

Jumpin' Jehosaphat! That's a real stunner. I, too, have an Eduard DH-2 on the shelf, but mine is munchkin scale. I'll get around to it when I finish the Caudron G-III, Thuy's DVII, and another kit I'll start just as an excuse.
BTW, how about a pic or 2 of the Bristol Scout in the background? That looks great as well.
From the Factory on the hill,

Wow that DH-2 is absolutely museum quality! I'm now officially intimidated from building my 1/72 version.
Macrame is looking like a good replacement hobby.

P.S. Or I could just bash my DH-2 into a W.W. I version of a P-38.

The gauntlet has been thrown down. As an honorable modeller, I have no choice but to pick it up! Thank you Ross! I've been wanting to do this but felt terrible guilt about bashing such a venerable aircraft. After what I'm doing to the Airfix Avro 504 (putting Me-109 G engine, wings, & horiz. stabs. on it), I'll probably be burning off the karma in a future modelling life by trying to mix the perfect PC-10.
Of course, sir, I will send you pics of the completed build.

I'm currently working on a munchkin-scale DH2 (old Revell Kit). I'm already pretty frustrated with it, but after seeing that I'll be too ashamed to show it when it's finished
Excellent build. A reel stunner.
