This is an incredible looking model ! I passed on the Roden kit which seems to be excellent, I do NOT think I can pass this one up!

Looks good, but I see a couple of problems already! large ejection pin holes on inside edge of cockpit, both front & rear (rear may be covered but front looks to be visable in front of the instrument panel location!) also the inner fuselage frames have molded on bracing wires - these will be a pain to scrape off to add more scale wires. I for one can never paint the raised molded wires thin enough to look accurate!
I'm sure it will be less work than the Roden kit, and look just as good (if not better) but as usual, no kit is perfect!

Dave, a suggestion:
Once you have your linen where you want it..
Take a regular ol' pencil - or if wish - a silver pencil - and gently scribe/rub/"draw" it along each raised wire.

You may find it gives just enough "detail" and is fairly close in scale.

If you want more contrast, you could first paint black very sharply along each.

But the pencil will do, unless you prefer real wire.

Ditto the ejector pin marks appear to be in a position where they will be near impossible to see.

QUESTION Answer: Only those afflicted with the most advanced case of AMS

(Raises hand.) Guilty as charged... here is the newest word from Eduard.

"Plastic kit
The only kit to be released this month is the 1/48th scale Bristol Fighter, this time in the ProfiPACK version. This last of the ProfiPACKs...and the dawn of a new age! Nevertheless, the Brisfit is a nice kit, and the ProfiPACK variant provides an excellent chance to build an awsome model. The Brisfit was a typical British bird, with plenty of accessories across the board. It was also well armed, and our kit provides many variants of the weapon load. It almost looks more like an F-16 loadout than one for an old plane, actually! The Brisfit looks like a very difficult build, but don't worry. It's not . We prepared this kit very carefully, and the engineering of the kit is so thoroughly thought out, even the wing assembly is straight forward, despite the number of struts. And this point is valid for all aspects of this kit. This is a ProfiPACK kit, although last of the line, so you can expect a photo-etched fret. There are four marking choices, and the mask sheet is, of course, included..."
