Exclamation New (?) houses for WW1 dioramas in 1:72 scale...

Hello!

Today I stumbled across the following two ITALERI plastic kits of 1:72 scale houses. At home I opened the boxes and was surprised about the good quality of the kit. The kits could also be used for other "aeras" - at least everything between about 1700 - 2000.

Volker---could you post the product numbers for those 2 house kits from Italeri? The Italeri website is not the most easily searchable one that I have seen. If you post the code, I could order them from my local shop. Thanks. They do look great, too. The larger one could be transformed into a cafe, I think....hmmm.

From the Factory on the hill,
John

If you open the thumbnails, you will see the part numbers 6074 and 6075 at the upper left corner.

These are neat houses.

Hello John,

you´re right - the ITALERI website is doing its best to make things complicated. Although Rufe already mentioned the two part numbers (that´s why I included them in my scans) here is the way through the website

--- Italeri homepage
--- 02 products
--- Historics 1:72
--- the last two items at the end of the list

Interesting is, that both kits are still "announced" and have just a provisory description, when I looked on the website a few minutes ago. It seems, that they´re not up to date ...

Another nice detail of the kits is, that the first floor has a real flooring so that the "extreme modellers" can add walls, doors, furniture and loads of other details under the detachable roof.

I had a closer look to the two ITALERI plastic kits: assembly is easy because most of the pieces can be pinned together! So it was very easy to find out the dimensions of the models. The dark grey plastic is very stable - 3 - 4 mm thick and the details are good and with only minor work you´ll get real wonderful results. Here are the rough dimensions - very impressive if compared with old Airfix-kits:

Country house
Length: 14 cm (5.5 inches)
Height: 13 cm (5.1 inches)
Depth: 12 cm (4.7 inches)

County house with porch
Lenght: 15 cm (5.9 inches)
Height: 11 cm (4.5 inches)
Depth: 11 cm (4.5 inches)

Any comments or are there already Forumites with results of their work?
