I like rigging too . . .
Since I got hold of Smallparts.com 0.005" stainless steel wire it has revolutionised my rigging. In fact I like the rigging more than all the other parts of the build. Call me a sad b*****d!
Hopefully the Short 184 won't spoil it.

never used to do it, but (and it's a big butt)
Am with Jamo - used to despise it and not do it.
Ceramic wire changed that. Cut the runs, tweeze 'em up and in with white glue, moisten a brush to finesse glue - done.
A Bristol M1.c build showed this can be done for more complex runs.
Before that, I'd only rigged DML Tripes, a Dogbox and a Ni.28.
A mood thing, but satisfaction is there.
No idea how some of you manage the wonders you do in Dai-Riki or the other fantastic sewing jobs - I'd rather spend hours in Off Topic than do that...

Its not the rigging I hate, its the preparation! I am in the process of drilling holes on an Albie DIII as we speak. I hate drilling holes, but like the end result!

After a hefty investment in .005 stainless from small parts, I am saying goodbye to drilling holes in my wings, struts, etc...I'm the only one who appreciates my rigging, except for the kind and patient fellow builders here at the 'drome. At home I hear a lot of "oh, is'nt that nice..." and 'Gee, that's small...". Excellent poll!
