But not after anyone try's it as I have already. Ive thrown everything else away for now. THis stuff works better than any Big Hobby manufact. has put out and it has nothing to do with the hobby. I got it from FSM Forum and I don't think I ll go back to Putty again.

It's a thick putty like liquid for repairing chips off of Porcelin Sinks. It goes on like a thinned liquid putty, wipes off, dries fast dosen't shrink, isn't knoxitous, and sands likes dried butter, polishes as smooth and hard like glass.

I found it retail on the Web at www.shophometrends.com go to the depaertment list on the left and click Bathrooms then select Porcelin & Tile and Click on "PORC-A-FIX" to get to see the "PORC-A-FILLER" which IS what you want?

Sounds reasonable. So it doesn't effect the plastic? And does it cure to a point where it is harder than the plastic, and therefore hard to sand flush with the plastic?

Tell me more!

Greg I wouldn't have beleived it if I hadn't tried it for myself? I thought I had some pictures with me I could post of the BA DVIII I have on the contruction board now. There was a very bad warped burble on the leading edge of the top half of the wing. When mated to the bottom half it left not only a gap but a hole between the two halfs. No Problem!!!!! I cemented the halfs together and after it was dry I applied the PORC-A-FILLER with a spatula I cut from the edge of a plastic discount card. It was like applying a liquid paste. It poured right into the hole and spread over the gap with a wipe of my home made spatula. It dried within minutes. It sanded like resin. Hard to the touch but like butter to the sand paper and knife. I used a Exacto Blade to shave off the dried excess like a seam scraper. I used a finer sand paper to give it a smooth surface. Which I have to say was just like the plastics surface. The two materials plastic kit part and the finished Porc-a -Filler were indistinguishable. It didn't seem harder than the plastic part it seemed it was as hard as the part.
