I use the Squadron white putty, but I can't imagine the green is much different. I just squeeze a little bit out on a toothpick and fill the gap with it. You can scultp it a little with the toothpick (although I use my finger). If you get a little too much on, it will sand off nicely after it dries. You can also carve it gently when dry. I'm told you can use nail polish remover to thin it but I haven't tried it yet.

I use the white putty also,it is a little finer than the green, and using nail polish remover to get rid of the excess is a great trick that helps eliminate a lot of sanding.Just be sure to use the "regular" nail polish remover , as the fancy stuff eats the plastic. Oh yeah, apply the nail polish with a Q-tip as the putty has just about dried ,but not quite.best wishes, Scott

Here are two great web sites that have instructions on using putty to fill seams. They're both illustrated liberally with photos, and both have been a great help to me:

Filling without sanding (using nail polish remover to smooth the putty to minimize sanding):

"AND , NOW FOR SOMETHING COMPLETELY DIFFERENT"

I tired to stay out of this. I have both putty's and a tube of Auto Body Filler. However this one is just TOO GOOD fo rme to sit on even though I maybe scoffed at and ridiculed? But not after anyone try's it as I have already. Ive thrown everything else away for now. THis stuff works better than any Big Hobby manufact. has put out and it has nothing to do with the hobby. I got it from FSM Forum and I don't think I ll go back to Putty again.

It's a thick putty like liquid for repairing chips off of Porcelin Sinks. It goes on like a thinned liquid putty, wipes off, dries fast dosen't shrink, isn't knoxitous, and sands likes dried butter, polishes as smooth and hard like glass.

I found it retail on the Web at www.shophometrends.com go to the depaertment list on the left and click Bathrooms then select Porcelin & Tile and Click on "PORC-A-FIX" to get to see the "PORC-A-FILLER" which IS what you want?
