Aeroclub developing Commercial wing jig ...

Saw this posted at Hyperscale....

Boy that would be a sweet tool Ross! But I have a feeling works like that won't come cheap. It seems more geared towards the giantism end of the biplane spectrm.

Nice idea! Looks like it wouldnt be too difficult to scratchbuild one in wood if necessary for the larger scales. I hope they are not too expensive for the average modeler..Cheers! John.

If you studied the phot enough, I bet you could go to the local hardware store and buy all the pieces you need for very little money. Or maybe find a cheap erector set...hmmm

Looks to be made all from brass. How about building them from steel, and using a magnetic base with a grid printed on it to allow easy movement and a secure mounting to the base?

Wish I'd had that when I built the kit in the pic. I got dollops of SuperGlue Gel all over the place. A mucking FESS, if ever I made one.

But then, the AeroClub FE2b was the model that my niece "shot down" a few months ago, so I guess it's moot, now.
