Rather than new releases of the same old same old in brobdingnagian scale, I'd rather see Roden keep to their release program thats been up on the website for ages, for example the DH-9, the BE types, would be most welcome releases.

Cheers

Neil

Terry:

Do you think about sitting or standing pilots?
Would pilots in 1/32 sell enough to be interesting for someone doing this commercially?
I mean even for someone deeply interested in the matter, say 25 sales per figure worldwide would be somewhat disappointing...
Would people like sitting pilots in a cockpit which they basically rescratched in dozens of hours only to obstruct nice detail?
And then: Most people like to do specific schemes for their planes rather than generic. But how about the figures? You would have to do likenesses of Ball, Udet, Guynemer you name them and that is quite hard. The only person I know who would be capable of doing such exquisite likeness work is our forum member Microsculpt.
Would people buy a generic pilot for their specific colour scheme?
You see I have made some thoughts about that...

There is a nice Richthofen figure by Andrea, though I'm not sure if he is really 1/32 or more to the 54mm label which might be anything up to 65mm these days.

Back to topic: Nice to have the Camel and the OAW FokkerDVII
Now I hope for the BE2 and please a german twoseater in 48th ...

Will it have the correct cowl?

The Roden Mid production OAW D.VII looks to be the same production version as on Stark's aircraft. But looking at the box top painting it has a cut away cowling, only a small piece of the forward cowl is on the aircraft in the painting. So will they give the full cowl with louvers that is missing in the new Eduard kit? Only time will tell...
