Good For Newbys

This is on of my favorites! It would also make a good "first time" biplane.

A biplane / RV HA !

Next on my list of kits to get

Light Blue or light gray

I have seen conflicting data on which color these C.IIs were painted. Was it a light gray or the light blue as pictured?

Rick's first rule of modelling (hey, Lawson can have them, why not me?): "Never confuse an artist's impression (i.e. 'box art') with reality".

hmmm. is it just me, or does this pretty much look like a combination of the Roland C.II profipack with the German Personnel WWI? if so, I'll probably pass--just cuz I've already got one of their Rolands (non profi-pack, cuz I suck) and got the personnel in the mail.

the next Fokker D.VII sounds okay... since I didn't get the last one! LOL. and the RFC figures sound kinda cool too. are they gonna be doing Frenchies any time soon?

Yes it is a combo of the two kits. I too have both of them already. Wish they would sell the decals from these comb sets separately though.

It figures!

It would only figure that they would intro the "Fish Scale" pattern on decal after I hand painted mine!

LOL! That is the Murphy's law about doing your own scheme, decals etc. They'll be released in some form in half a year after you have finished your model!
