Anyone familiar with this 1/10 th scale model from Amati ?

The Bleriot is Amati's only aircraft model. It lists for $499.99us from Model Expo.

The photo is wrong, but the pn is correct....

I'd like to see the kit before spending that kind of money. I'm just getting into the model ship building realm, but I haven't read too much about Amati. I know first hand the Model Airway's kits are much like their Model Shipway's kits. I would imagine that the quality, difficulty of build, etc, would mirror their ship operation, since that's their bread and butter.

It is a nice looking model though, from the photos. But then, I've seen built up models on box tops that looked like masterpieces but the kit was garbage. It's all in the builder.
