Gil's DCM Airco DH-2

Here's one to watch - Gil Russell's build of the Digital Card Models DH-2 in 1/32.

Yowsa Mr Goedkoop that is indeed one to watch! I recently recieved the Eduard DH-2, and even in plastic, I am fairly intimidated! Anyone who would try to model it in card is a very brave soul!

That's quite a job, Gil (via Eric). I, too, have the Eduard kit and it also gives me the willies, but I'll have to get down to it someday soon. I'll finish my Caudron first.

Eric--I didn't like the vac wings for the G3...How easy would it be to make them from card? Oh, 72nd scale, BTW...

From the Factory on the hill,
John

Well . . .

Shouldn't be too bad, except for all the scallops and that weird step on the upper surface at the rear spar. The only thing I'd be really worried about is drooping - you'll either have to hide some sort of spar in there to keep 'em straight or make sure your rigging is functional.

Or both.
