Look under Gavia. $22.50, I think.
Wow... nearly 2x what others sell it for?

I can't do that sir. I'll email you, but you have to let me buy it from you. And you are welcome to post it on your site, although I'm not NEARLY as good as the other guys on here- I pretty much build OOB with maybe some flying wires added, etc. I'm just a beginner! I'm likely to make a mess of it.

Brad (I'm not poor, just cheap... I hate when one company sells for double what another does!)

Hi Brad,
Not to call you cheap, but Squadron had this kit marked as a clearance item, for 50% off the regular price! That is why it cost half the price of the Roll kit, but since Squadron is sold out, no reason to worry about their great price, since you won't be able to get any anyway! Usually the clearance sale items are discontinued items limited to stock on hand. I'm sure if Gavia reissues the kit, Squadron will have them online at the new higher price.

Hello Brad,

Did you get a DII finally? At least I heard the last one at Aviation megastore has been sold. I ordered the latest DVII from from Eduard today. I think their prizes for Eduard kits are very competetive:

That's a lot of Lozenge Camouflage that goes with the D.VII
I know how much trouble you had with the lozenge on the D.VI, Nico.
I hope this kit won't give you the same trouble.

I think the D.II turned out quite nice. I'm just finishing of my 1/72 DH2 today. Hopefully have another picture up over at the Modelbrouwers forum before nightfall

For the time being I gave up the DVI. Maybe when I get my hands on a descent 1/72 lozenge decalset I may continue. Eduard should make things easier since the decals are pre shaped.

I bought one from Gregory, just got it. Looks really good! (to my untrained eye at least!) This is going to be fun... the rigging for the wing warping is pretty interesting on that one!

(Thanks Gregory!)

Special Hobby have announced a DII AND a DIII for release this year:

http://www.hannants.co.uk/search/?CA...5B%5D=code+asc

I think these will have etched parts and resin detail as well - in line with their other kits. No idea if these will be entirely new moulds or based on the Gavia kit (the latter, I expect with detail additions).

They already have the Austrian BII out, which was, I think, a single bay unarmed trainer version of the D II. I haven't seen it myself, but would expect that if this is a mod of the Gavia moulds then the others will be too. Can anyone comment??
