I've never even seen a decent scale drawing of this historically significant airplane. I'd bash one but the lack of reference is a killer...

Well,

I do have a resin kit of the C1 at home scale 1/72, made by MBC models. But,.... looking at it, it appears to me that the wings are wider then the DVII one.

I started in on it some months ago, but resin is not really my thing. the wings have the tendency to bend down for example. Furthermore 1/72 is not my scale. Some time ago I also asked for specific detail foto's for this aicraft, I also advertised over here in Holland. Never had any reaction....

Greetings, Nico Teunissen

Fokker C.1

Apparently, the wings are wider by one set of ribs, and the fuselage lengthened at the C/G. Other than that, I'me pretty much in the dark.
The Dutch made fine use of this aircraft for many years.

This is -of course - also true with all your home made decals and especially with all the most demanding and laborious checkerboard, fishscale etc. schemes!

I think there are some drawings or information in one of the WWI Aero mags. I seem to remember a C.I on the cover with a modified axle wing tank. Cole Palen's first D.VII was done from a Fokker C.I if memory serves. Aurora used his a/c to do their drawing of their Fokker D.VII.

I would really like to see a decent SVA type 5, 9 & 10 in 1/48.
