Models by Marcos update

I got a response from John marcos last week regarding the SP 3 kit that I ordered from him in October. Seems he had an undisclosed medical condition that required hospitalization. Hopefully he has a full recovery. he said that he has once again begun producing his resin kits. So hopefully anyone that ordered one the past few months will receive them shortly.
Can't wait to see the kit!

Can you give me a Link to Models by Marcos ? If I am not mistaken he is the guy Ive been looking for. I think it was year before last he put out two large scale WWI Engine Kits of a Mercedes and an Hispano Suzia ? I rembered the link from FSM and had previously saved it for future reference but must have lost it with my last HD Crash.

Hi Mike,
here is the link. John currently offers several large scale engines in resin, and a SP 3 (I cannot correctly spell the name!) in both 1/48 and 1/72 scale, white metal and resin kits. John Marco is the same guy that did the 1/24 Pfalz D.III, Albatros D.V, Nieuport 28 and Fokker D.8 multi media kits back in the 1990's.

AH HA HA HA HA !!! YES THATS The Guy ! I was looking for ! I have a Hasegawa 1/8 Musem Series Se5a which as a Kit is awesome, but as an Se5a they took an unsual short cut with this one out of the series by only providing dummy clyinder heads for the Exhust Manifold instead of the whole engine as with the Camel and Dr.I. Perhaps they figured it would be hidden under the cowl but this is EXACTLY what I was looking for to "trick" this Kit Out :

1/8 SCALE W.W.1 HISPANO-SUIZA 150/180 AIRPLANE MOTOR KIT
Contains over 60 cast resin parts and a detailed step-by-step instruction
€ 64,00 www.modelartbymarco.com

Nice Looking out Dave, I hope he IS well and he is shipping?
