Greetings from new member
Hello to one and all
Having lurked around this site for some time, I would first like to say well done to those of you who maintain it. I have been modelling for about as long as I can remember (just turned 37 yesterday!) but apart froma Guillows DR-1 attempted as a teenager (disaster) and a Dragon 1/48 DR-1, I haven't dabbled much in WW1 aviation. That is about to change as I am now anxiously awaiting the arrival of a Model Airways D.Va Albatros kit. John Reid, your dioramas are truly inspirational and I hope you don't mind if I bother you for some advice from time to time. Does anyone else have any impressions/opinions/experience they would be willing to share regarding this kit? Well I guess thats about it for now. Gotta go check that UPS tracking number again!
Regards,
Pat

Welcome, Pat!
I've only been around here for a short while, but have to say that this is the best site of its type and you will find plenty of helpful people willing to share their extensive knowledge, I know I have!

Welcome to our little corner of the "Drome" always room at the mess table for another. Don't mind old Ginger over in the corner he's sullen since his last foray up the salient. Lost his wings again we'll have to start calling him "stubby."

Thanks for the friendly welcome folks.
Wacky? Seems positively normal to me.
Cheers,
Pat
