On a Wing and Prayer at the Edge of No Man's Land

Hi - This is my dio of a crashed Sopwith Camel and pilot. Hobbycraft 1/32, Pegaso figure. The dead German is scratchbuilt. The plane has Tom's Modelworks etch peices and is painted with acrylics. The figures are painted with acylics too. I could't figure out how to post a picture, so here is the link to Timelines where the did the hard work.

Thanks, Matt Wellhouser

Very well done! The figures are awesome! The Camel is equally well done!
My only question, if the plane ended up in this configuration would there be a little damage to the wings? Just a real nitpicky thing and I do not mean to say that I do not think the work is FANTASTIC!

Wow, very nice Matt

Not often we see dioramas like this in 1/32 scale.

Fabulous build and great lay-out and story

Cheers

Thanks to everyone for their comments- very much appreciated

I thought about damage to the aircraft, but I looked at many crashed ww1 planes, and saw that they can nose over with little damage, My theory is that the plane had a oil leak, forced to land, and snagged a barbed wire fence (which you cannot see-its wrapped around the gear.) then nosed over in the nick of time. Also it meant less work for me!

Thanks!!
