Help needed: ordering British props from Aeroclub

Hello

I am ordering a lot of parts from Aeroclub including a batch of propellers, but I do not know wich ones are the correct for British airplanes. German ones are easy, Axial or Heine(or is that a WWII prop?), with or without spinner, but can't figure out the British ones.

I am looking for 2 bladed props for SE5a, Sopwith Pup, SPAD, and a 4 bladed prop for a RE8, all in 1/72 scale.

Any help appreciated. Thanks in advance.

Hello, I got a reply jellytwig, thought I would share in case somebody else wonders too

Hi Romani, I spotted a query of yours about aeroclub props (then promptly lost it! )If it's 1/72 you require, of the 118 items they have listed the following 7 seem to be useful for WW1 British aircraft, just check for diam. and direction of rotation, they are P009, P014, P036, P040, P049, P053 and P071. They also do some engine and prop combined deals, but they all seem to be rotaries for the British aircraft. I hope this is of some use

Bump

I'm looking now for a 4 blade propeller for an RE8, the BE12 version doesn't fit, so I think maybe a DH4 prop would do.

I figure out the direction of rotation is indicated by the leading edge of the blades, but when they are described as being left handed or right handed, is when viewed from the aircraft front, or from the rear? I can't recall wich was the correct.
