Greetings HispanoSuiza, nice to see you back. We have some new faces. On the Fokker E.V / D.VIII kit what are you looking for? What scale. Eduard has a new issue kit #8096 but there are 1/72 kits available too. There is even a Battle Axe kit build here. Check the search engine.

I have a Dragon Fok.E.V/D.8 1/48 that is very very veryyy nice with photo-etched parts. Its a lovely kit that I hope to build quite soon....


Also I have a Roden D.8 1/72 thats is actaully a good lookin kit in my opinion.....SHould build quite quick! I bought it for cheap for like 10 or so bucks from Squadron.

Thanks guys. I was hoping someone might have an unbuilt D8 lying around to dispose of cheap. I'm partial to scales larger than 1/72 but would consider that.

Check Squadron Mial Order http://squadron.com/Search.asp Seach 1/32 and manufactuer BattleAxe form France. They carry Battle Axe's 1/32 WWI Line. But IT ANIT CHeap by a long shot, but these are limited production kits.

Some would say GOOD ! I will be generous and just warn you that they require lots of extra refernce material like a WIndsock Data File Book and are not OOB (Out of the BOx) Builds. THey require a good amount of sctatch building and AM Details to come out. They are a bit of a challenge but they are buildable?

Watch Ebay and post a ebay wanted Ad for one ? I picked up and extra one from a owner in england but I paid near the same amount as if I ordered it. I got it in case I truely screwed the Pooch on the one Iam building now and might apply lessons learned. It is a nice scale.

BUt to be honest these boys are right when they are telling you ED's new 1/48 release is a HOT Kit ! Very Very nice. I have one as well new in the box. The point being it is an affordable reasonably priced kit.

DML makes/made the D8/E5, 1/48. Where can i get one? Thanks.

I have an extra DML one I'd be willing to part with. I'm overseas right now so you'd have to wait until I get back home on 1st, if that's ok.

I have both boxings complete, except that the bust is no longer in the kit that originally had it. Chalk that up to my misguided and unsuccessful figure painting venture. But the aircraft, decals, photoetch and other bits are all there.

The Eduard kit would be both cheaper (DML is OOP) and easier to obtain.
