GENTLEMEN It is my SAD Duty to POST a WARNING to ALL with regard to ordering from MODELART by Marco in Essen Germany.

I have personaly lost over a 140 Euros by ordering form him thru PayPal. I inquired about kit availablity and price from him in Feb. He promptly replied and I order making payment thru PayPal.

The 45 day Dispute filing Limit came and past with short email replys form him that he was away, that the kits would be on their way, and that he had trouble with a couple of part molds and would have to re-cast them.

Near 90 days past and he STOP ALL Communication and there is no longer any recourse thru PayPal. My Payment is gone and there has Been NO Merchendise Delivered.

I understand he was an accomplished Modeller and KIT Maker. He has been featured in Model Magazines. I HOPE beyond all Hope he will reappear anytime and fill my order.

What I have found to be even MORE supiousious is that after communicating with a couple of other Board Members I have discovered he has treated at least one other customer the same way two months before my order.

My expensive HARD Learned lesson : No MATTER what reason you recieve for a LACK of Merchendise purchased thru Paypal DO NOT Let 45 days pass without filing a dispute ! Even if there is a future promise to deliver.

Hobby Buyers Beware. I would hope to purse this matter further thru the proper authorites how ever my personal loss may not be sufficent enough to raise their intrest.

YEYEYEEYEYEYEYYYYYAAAAAHHHH !!!! X-MAS In JULY !!!!

The Kits arrived today packed in cardboard box with popcorn packing.

TO be Honest I think the Kits are AWESOME !!! Magnificent !! These are HEAVY RESIN CASTINGS Making a 1/8 Scale Engine. They came in Two seperate Plastic bags with Brass Wire tubing and Black rubber Ingition wiring. I hope to install one in a Hasegawa 1/8 Scale Se5a. These are so NICE I am thinking I may keep the other for display? They are so nice they are making me want to order the Mercedes Engine and Scratch a 1/8 scale DVII to go around it !!!

Here are the Pics and Instructions.

Marco SP 3 kit arrived last week!

Hi everyone,
Like Mike, I can happily report that I finally received my kit from John Marco. The 1/48 scale SP3 pusher aircraft is nicely done in resin and white metal parts, the wings look pretty good with no bubbles or warping although the lower surface of the wing has some blemishes that will have to be sanded smooth without ruining the nice rib tapes...
Although it took about 8 months, several e-mails and online questions, Mr. Marco came through with the goods, and they are good!

U.S. Distributor

Greetings All,
According to the website there is now a US distributor for their kits. Does anyone know who this might be?
