First large-scale kit I ever put together was this'un, back in the early 'sixties. I finished mine as Voss' machine; inaccurately, I know now, because I didn't know the differences appropriate to the two early examples flown by him and the Baron.
Thanks for the memory.
Hope you've got a good display case to keep that beauty in and the dust out. Well done.
Simba.

Great build!
Lookin Good!
The only model I saved from my youthful modeling days is a 28th Revell tripe. With all the other kits I've got stacked around here waiting to be done(including the Roden 32nd tripe), I still have a hankering to build another 28th tripe. And I will get to it too!
This one kit sure has stood the test of time.
Nicely done!
Salute,
Steve

Thanks Mates,
I really had fun making the model towards the end it was a little hard to finish up.
But i did and i'm happy about it.The 1/28 scale really is a nice scale to build and i'll work on a 1/28 Fokker DVII in a few months.
Copper State is really a great help in doing projects like these.
Only flaw i had with it no pilot for the cockpit.

JP- Looks great. We all learned something from your question on the other thread, so hope you enjoyed the discussion and the build. Looks like it was definitely worth the effort.

Taz,
Thank you for the compliment.
I just love what i can learn here from all you guy's too.
I just now received "The Fokker Triplane" by Alex and "Fokker DR.1 Triplane" by Paul in the mail today.
So at least i'll know what you guys are talking about when it comes to the Fokker Dr.1.
Thanks Again,
JP

Very, very nice!
I, too, have learned a lot from the thread you started. Even better, a buddy of mine at work has ordered the Roden 1/32 Dr.1, and I pointed him to your thread to answer his questions on the color.
Warm regards, and thanks for posting your photos of the finished model.
