Really great to see those HUGE Parts coming together. Amazing how the rigging really goes.

That looks like the DR1 kit by Hachette, these are a really great looking plane although from what I've heard from a few sources the fit and fnish isn't all that good.

Updated Pic's

A little more progress today. All of the guages have been installed along with the fuel tank, carbuerator, compass and the exhausts have been checked for proper fit. The next stage will be rigging the fuselage and the tail section.

Wait until you see the Camel! The original 80's kits are exceptional.

Hey Ross NEAT huh ? A lot of full size replica guys actually get themselves one of these.

Really would be amazing if they not only re-released the entire line but also came out with a new one. A DH 2 ? A DVII ? Awesome.

Not to say these kits are perfect. Digging into mine I can see a couple of minor descrepancies from some of the PE detail stuff Ive seen in other scales. Room here to add plumbing and wiring to the intruments and throttles, gun trigggers etc.

But the ground work was all carefully done here with the correct fittings and all. Gotta hand it to this company KUDOS, and again I mention these were developed back in the day before the revolution of AM Multi-media we take for granted now.

Yours Mike

A real nice very large D.VII would be outstanding. The poor old Revell 28th one needs so much work....

R-Flugzeuge

I would go for the Giants... but then one would need to build a hangar (at 1/8scale the Staaken R VI would have a 17 ft wingspan!!!)
