THAT WOULD BE TOO KOOL !! AS KOOL as a 1/32 scale B17 I was waiting for Bandai to make but never did DAMMMM !

YEs I think you would need a hanger! NOW THESE KITS I CAN accept the Line that goes somehting like : I DONT HAve enough shelf space for that !

They are often diplayed hannging for that VERY reason, They are huge and don't fit on Horzontail surfaces. Hasegawa actully provides for that with special Hook fittings and hardware provided with special notes in the intructions on where to put it located at the CG.

I finished the internal rigging. Now I have the two sides and the top and bottom! This is tedious stuff. Fortunately, I have perfected my method for passing the two ends of threads through the copper tubing. The process should become quicker.

It is a bit difficult to see.

Yes it is a Hasegawa kit. I have no idea about the electric motor.

supplemental kit

The kit I bought in Japan had a supplemental kit that had a motor and 2-capacitor battery’s
Plus a battery box that plugged in to a jack under the front floorboard
When the kit is done you plugged in the battery pack and charged it up then turned it on the motor and the prop spun
I had the body done and I was starting the wings when the kit was destroyed
The sad part I think I spent 125$ on it in Japan with the electrics but that was 23 years ago

I have the Camel and the SE5a. They have been popping up on e-bay, but they are expensive. I paid $900.00 for the Camel and $400.00 for the metal engine.
The Dr1 has been re-released and I paid $675.00 for it.

I have all 3 of them for sale in the Aerodrome classifieds. All are the original issue kits and all are still sealed. The Dr.I and the SE5a are still in the original mailing box. I've seen the SE5a go for $1700 on ebay, most recently for $1400.

Since I own all three of the kits, I must say that the Camel is by far the best and I paid the least amount of $ for the Se5a and the SE has the least amount of detail? Go figure

Thanks theseeker for a beautiful build of a great kit. I'm very much looking forward to more pictures as you go along. Nice to see all the neat little nits of detail through out the aircraft. Thanks for sharing your build.
