I just started a trio built. Pfalz's operational fighters of ww1; The E1 (Gavia), DIIIa(Eduard) and the DXII (Special Hobby), all 1/48 scale.
Did make a start on the E1. Wanted to start on it earlier but first had to finish Revell's Spirit of St. Louis. Nice new kit without any problems..
Other kits I built this year:
Albatros DVa Eduard
Fokker DVII Roden
Fokker DVII Eduard
Sopwith Camel Eduard
Airco DH 5 Karaya
Fokker DVIII Eduard.
All 1/48 scale
That is nearly a kit a month.
Greetings, Nico

Finished this year: only one kit: Dragon 1/48th scale Fokker D VII, Belgian version
Actually in progress:
- Fokker E V (Dragon 1/48th scale); Belgian version
- Fokker Dr I (Roden 1/32)
Will start soon:
- Albatros DIII (Eduard 1/48th scale); Voss a/c. That build will be part of a SGB on the (Belgian, French Speaking) Amay Modeles Club forum, where four guys will build Voss'a/c but at different scales: Osterkamp at 1/144th scale; Edmond Thieffry at 1/72 scale; myself (pseudo Draken35 on that forum) at 1/48th scale and Marko at 1/32nd scale. we're just waiting the reception of the Roden 1/32 kit before to start.
Other projects that were begun but are progressing too slowly to be considered as "actually in progress":
- Nieuport 17 (1/48 Eduard)
- Nieuport 11 (1/48 Eduard)
- Nieuport 23 (1/48 Eduard)
- Spad VII Rouleur (1/72 MAC)

Being off-topic, I won't mention my ship modeling plans for the winter. Ships have also been my only completed models so far this year.
As for aircraft, I'll be finishing Roden's Albatros W.4 (Early) very soon (tonight, with luck ), and then for the rest of the season I'm going to plan for one, and only one aircraft kit.
Roden's Zeppelin-Staaken R.VI.

Kits to build
OK, I'm committing so that everyone can see. Don't know how long it will take me, but I'm building the Eduard Profi-pack Nieuport 11 and the Eduard 1/72 Fokker EIV Profipack. I've sat on my modeling butt for far too long, and it's time to get into the fray.....

...An Ansaldo SVA 5, more DVII's, M-S 'L', a Berg, and a Hansa D.1, maybe some SPAD 7's, and, I hope, an Eindecker. All from Eduard except for the SVA 5 and the Special Hobby and Blue Max SPADs.
I'd like to add the Pup in the there, too, but school cuts into my modeling time.
I'm still working on a 72nd scale Tiger Moth from Airfix as a tribute to my own past...
From the Factory on the hill,
John

Posting the builds...
Hey everyone, when we're all done with our builds, let's not forget to post them here. God knows how much we like the eye candy......

Well, let me see....
Completed this year so far:
1/48 Roden Fok D.VII (Fok Early)
1/48 Eduard Pfalz D.IIIa
1/72 Eduard SPAD X.III
On the bench at the moment:
1/48 Eduard Albatros D.V (Just got the lozenge on it last night....should have this one done in the next few weeks - yay!!)
1/48 Roden F.2b (Long term diorama project)
1/48 BE-12b Aeroclub kit bash (Even longer term project given Roden has released a kit of the BE-12b.... bye bye motivation!)
Plus some other non WW1 stuff which probably doesn't interest anyone here

I have simply got to get a camera; not that I'm some super modeler, but I really would like to share...
BTW, I might have to scratch that "Roden R.VI only" idea of mine; test fitting those nacelle parts that I've been dreading showed them to have quite an acceptable fit. Sure, they're going to take some touching-up, but I thought the end-cones were part-thickness too big in diameter.
Add a Toko Hansa-Brandenberg D.I to my "list" if everything goes as smoothly on the R-Plane front as it appears it will. Maybe an Eduard E.III, too?
Roden Albatros W.4 is done, first completed plane model for 2006.

Howdy, Tom:
I’m in the same boat as you are, I’ve been promising myself to get a digital camera for the past few years, I guess I’ll just have to quit putting it off and get one real soon… and I’m sure every one here in the forum would very much like to see your models.
