I suspect the server just doesn't like hot-linking images (like Tripod, f'rinstance - some accounts don't let you link to images), and that's what has been causing the issues. It doesn't seem to matter when you try the link, you keep getting re-directed to the 403 page. Anyway, with a bit of luck, Photobucket will be more reliable.

As for the colour, I seem to recall mention that it's cast in resin, to test for fit/accuracy/etc. It's definately a test shot, so probably done in whatever materials were handy at the time. The production kit will be the same ol' Eduard plastic we know and love.

Definately in resin. Note they haven't even cut the holes for the aileron actuation balances.

Looks great - I like the cowlings and the sweep of the top wing looks good. I know I'm not alone in hoping that someone would make a new kit of SOME Nieuport in 1/72, and am glad that Eduard has taken on this type. Great news! Thank's for the tip!
