What about the two wings on the Eduard Fokker E.V?

I ask because I cannot discern the difference between the two wings provided with the kit. Yet one is supposed to be "perfect" while the other is supposed to show the "wrinkling" and convex effect between ribs that supposedly appeared in the very thin plywood skin. I cannot tell the difference between the two wings in the kit (amazingly, though, they are molded in one piece, thick as they are, and my example has not a hint of a sink mark anywhere on either wing). They both look idealized, right off a drawing board.

Has anyone else noticed this, or am I missing something right in front of my face? (And BTW, this kit is outstanding, but be careful with the very near scale cockpit tubing assemblies, which are very, very brittle. Handle with care, or prepare to be frustrated.)

Also, does anyone know just how thick or thin the plywood wing covering was?
thanks,
TOM

The difference is soooo subtle that it is unnoticable UNTILL paint and perhaps some drybrushing/weathering is applied. you can then pick out a waffled appearance! Trust me it IS there

Had exaclty the same feeling. So I just did: "iniminimanimo" and apllied one and gave the other away to a fellow builder who wants to make a vacuumform DVIII.

Greetings, Nico
