Philippe, your talent is incredible, and your attention to detail impressive. Cant wait til these are available. Good work!

Gregvan, I know your Pfalz book has been out for several months, just got my copy last week. Very nice work, and I applaud your hard work! Thank you!

Was MvR's "Geschwaderstock" walking stick ever recovered?

regards,
ritt

Par excellent, n'est pas? Phillippe provided a figurine of MvR for the Indy Squadron last year and it was one of most popular prizes that has ever been offered.

I think I see a bit of a bulge in the left waist coat pocket of the Luke figure. If so, that is remarkably good work. In every photograph taken of Luke at the front he has a nearly undetectable object in his left coat pocket. I've studied and blown up the photos ten ways from Sunday and whatever it is, its the same object in every photo and he carried it every day. I haven't discovered what the object was yet, but I've narrowed it down to a couple of strong possibilities. Anyway, to have caught on to that is some pretty good modeling work.

Bonjour, Phillippe!

Lukes Pocket

Stephen,
When I was an adolescent I interviewed Frank Lukes mechanic. He told me a great story about Luke tear assin' down a tree lined road on a motorcycle with a 45 in each hand. He fired at each tree in passing and the man said he didn't miss a one.
Could the object be a pistol?
Best regards,
Terry
