2006 S.A. Scale Model Expo

Greeting to all,

Well I had a pretty full on weekend but managed to get to the annual model SA scale modem expo organised by S.A. Plastic Modellers Association (SAPMA).

Unfortunately for me I did not have the time to get any really good photographs of all the WW1 entries.

I did however manage to get an interesting shot of one of the famous modellers on his second trip to the trophy presenter!

Well done Brad & well deserved..Oops did I say Brad??

Anyhow, here are two photo's I did manage to take of some of his works.

Brads beautiful Spitfire

Brads very interesting 109

Brad can you do me a favor and post a few more shots of your incredible Albatros [Lulu] please??

The results for the Expo should appear here when they are posted.

If anyone else was there and has some good photo's please feel free to add them to this post.

Regards to all

Paul

That EmEE thingie doesn't have a top wing

and no clear doped linen or 5 colour lozenge. I think you maybe want Hyperscale.com . . .

Here are some of the 1/72nd scale entries that I did manage to photograph.

Morane-Saulnier L

Siemens-Schuckert D.III

Early Pfalz

There were a few other 1/72nd scale models on display, however I did not manage to photograph them.

Here are two photo's of the Roden 1/32nd scale Fokker D VI that was entered, and beautifully made it was too!

Bran had his two Fokker DVII's, Pfalz DIII and Albatros DIII (Lulu) all in 1/48 scale presented, these models have been shown in other posts.
