"Early Birds"

I was wondering if anyone could tell me if and where I could find (plastic) model kits of early WWI aircraft.

I know that Coperstate had a Blériot X (XI?) and is now producing a Morane with Belgian cockades.

But are there also Farman, Voisin, Caudron aircraft available in model form somewhere on our planet ?

If so I would very much like to know where .

Early kits

Try eBay -
it is the only place you are likely to find the Inpact/Pyro/lifelike series of pre and early war kits.

also try

AJP Maquette Kits

To follow up on Carpo's post, note that the kits are not injection molded but built from brass and PE structures covered with tissue much like a balsa kit. Don't get me wrong, I've seen the Caudron G.III kit and it is beautiful! Just know that it will involve a lot more work than a conventional plastic kit (and 'spensive ).

@Carpo :

Thanks a lot for that last link : these are superb models!
The Caudron and the Blériot are on my wanted list as from now

@ Bob_D :

Your right they are rather high priced, and I can imagine the work involved but they are magnificent ...I mean : wow!

Thanks for the info Gentlemen

Bluedevil!

The Farmans and Caudrons are unfortunately very rarely kitted. If you except resin kits and 1/72 scale, there are some options, however. Check the Czech resin manufacturer Omega. Hannants webstore has a very good seach engine for these:

For Farmans check also the Polish label Choroszy:
