Lighter then air models
I have just discover this web site:
Hippo models - Zeppelin LZ41 (naval type)    Look very nice. I have a wish long time ago to scratchbuilt a some of the German zeppelin.

Very nice Sreiko
She's very pretty and very expensive to boot. I understand the cross section of the zep is incorrect in having too few sides to the polygon shape (18 as opposed to 19) and there are one too few formers in the hull but hey its a model WW1 Zeppelin and you have to applaud the manufacturer for taking such a financial gamble owing to the limited appeal of such a model.
Take a look at AirshipModeler! Welcome. . . and search for Hippo Models on their forum. See also Hannants - Hippo Models HPLZ41 - 1:144 to be scared off by the price tag. TTFN Dave |
