Stainless Spring Wire Available

Greetings,
Not sure if this is the correct Forum for this but...
A colleague of mine at work has a limited supply of Stainless Spring Wire that he might be intersted in disposing of. He used to be a Carburettor Refurbisher and used this stuff for making his own springs. Now, behind a desk, he doesn't have so much use for it.
I have samples of 0.005" and 0.015" (Aproximately 0.12 and 0.4mm respectively). I think it will be ideal for rigging.
He asked me to gauge what sort of interest there would be in say 2-5 meter bundles of each (I think that these quantities should be sufficient for several Bipes). I don't know what a fair price is for this sort of thing... any ideas?

Cheers,

Hugh

Hey MerlinV;
I use a bit of stainless steel wire occassionaly. Mine is purchased from Detail Masters for about 2.50 USD and comes in a packet of 9-10 strands at 12". I would be interested in several bundles of each.

Thanks Steve,

So we could say that a fair price would be about US$2.50 per 4 meter length?

I will pass that back to my Coleague and we'll see what happens.

Cheers,

Hugh
