The first model is ready. It depicts the plane from X Gruppo, 91 Squadriglia, flown in May 1918 by the greatest Italian ace – Magg. Francesco Baracca. Till his death in June 1918 he was credited 34 aerial victories.

I like it. Its entirely possible the early Bleriot cockades were over painted or removed and the red / green fields applied under the wings. Nicely Done.

Thank you all for your interest! Stephen, indeed I was wondering how to treat the undersurfaces. The Italian flag option as well as the beige underside was selected by the advice by Sreiko. Eduard's instruction wants it in light bluegrey and with cockades. Yet this combination seemed more interesting to me, and as you pointed out - not impossible! Thanks for this confirmation
