Hi StephenLawson,

The first image shows a Brownish-Orange tint to it on my set-up.

The second one shows up spot Right On!

Regardless, they both look Beautiful, Stunning, and did I mention Gorgeous?
I realize that it is the same machine, just a variation of lighting or refraction.

I like them! You can count my vote.

Best Regards, FOKKERJ

Hi Stephen - looks interesting but the photos seem a little too far away for me to make my mind up on these - any close ups?

Thanks!

Greetings Brad;
Of course I have some close ups. and I have images of the decals applied to the wings without rib tapes and etc. And I will post more images as stated previously. I am just waiting for the manufacturer to give the ok.

Here is a bit of fun with the "new" four colour. This is one of the kits for that EOW diorama. It represents a heavily used late model OAW type from Jasta 36.

Here is a bit of fun with the "new" five colour. This also is one of the kits for that EOW diorama. It represents a heavily used late model Alb. type from Jasta 43. Strictly a hypothetical as far as the personal markings. We don't know what Raesch actually had on his machine at the EOW.

Here is the side by side look at the applications. Both have a painted texturing of my own device. I do plan on doing a couple of models "clean" with just the lozenge and no texturing. These will also be displayed after completion. The 5 colour still needed the "hand hold" and serial number decals.

Bob, Ich auch nicht!

The only 1/48 I have left is a DML D.VIII, and that old Microscale 4-color just doesn't cut it!

Question for Stephen

Do you use the same colour rib tapes on the under surfaces of the wings as on the upper surface?
