Great little model!

Kampfflieger,

How neat! Nice looking model of an interesting subject. Did you design this card model yourself?

I see this is your first post. Welcome to The Aerodrome!

Welcome to the 'drome.

Your card model looks great. Nice and neat...a very clean build. Much better than my paper triplane from a few years back. Looking forward to more of your work.

VERY nice! Good choice of subject too... not something you see very often.

I've been seriously considering doing a "semi-scale" version of this... in a slightly larger scale. (say, about 90% scale)

It is the only strut-braced parasol I can find any decent info on from the Central Powers side of WWI.

I'm curious about your choice of colors though... I understood the camo scheme on this aircraft to be grey tones, but I might be wrong. What lead you to that choice of colors? (And my curiosity is based on my desire to build one, I'm not sniping at you here! I want to be as accurate as I reasonably can.)

Also, where did you get decent 3-views? From what I've seen of the actual aircraft (one side view photo from the period) your profile looks VERY close if not spot-on, and the wings and tail surfaces look right... you obviously had a good source of information!
