Brad,
This is a wonderful model and provides a good interpretation of the camo colours.
I don't have this kit but do have eduard's J1 kit and suspect that the Roden D.1 will be next.
I am interested in how the D1 trailing edge is modelled. In the december 2007 Windsock Harry Woodman provided a review of the Roden D.1 kit and commented on the incorrect trailing edge as being a straight line and not convolute.
Are you aware of any photos showing the trailing edge in detail?
Regards,
John

Brad,
Here is an image of the trailing edge of the J1 in Canada. While this is at the join betwen the aileron and wing, the centre section is the same.
I am curious about the windsock review stating a convolute edge on the D.1 and not one like this.

It's interesting that the panels appear to be stamped as opposed to rolled like corugated tin siding.

John

John,
That's interesting, I have never seen the junkers corrugated leading/trailing edges stamped so smooth like that. No wrinkles that I can see at all.
