I think this has appeared before but never truer:

"The best time to build for a yearly contest is the week after the current event has occured so you are ready for the next year, not the week before!"

Sorry sir, I'll not be able to attend but I'm sending a couple of mementos to represent me. If I could only win the lottery and not have to work...

Modelling Question 102 :

Why do current (not necssarily new ) modeller rely on aftermarket accessories? There was a time when "modellers" made their own accessories....I.E. seat belts.......white glue and tissue (TP)....not brass.

naaahhhhh...current modellers have a sense of humor....unlike the old fart modellers like myself we have no sense of humor....lol...

My first model.....one stick tied to another stick. Then I added a stick for elevators and one more for rudder. 4 sticks. It had retractable landing gear.....it had too....otherwise I would have had to add 2 more sticks. Of course all this was dependant upon the light in my cave! B)
