Hi Richard and Top Gun;
Well the branding type face was "Neue Sachskeitleit" and the oil brand was... No No No!!!! What am I doing?!! I must book myself into therapy at once...Oil indeed! Is there no end to the mental perfidy that AMS can construct?
You two need to book into the nearest Institute Branch ASAP!! Its not too late!
I think its time for Stephen to start his next course - you two have too much time on your hands!
If only Herr Doktor Von Humbrol was still alive!

Gentlemen:
Just who in bloody blue blazes is this Dr. Humbrol and Great Aunt Dymphna?? And what torid love affair did they carry out? Is it gernain to the oucome of WW I? Why doesn't it appear in the history books? And just what is this "blimpy shall rise again?" I'm dying here of curiosity. Someone please bring me up to speed, or I fear I shall fail Steve's Philosophy course miserably....... :-/ :-X :-[

Pete;
Best leave Herr Doktor Von Humbrol and Aunt Dymphna where they belong - in the annals of history (besides this is a 'family site').
Blymp is a Sopwith Triplane (no. 5493) of Naval 8 Squadron. RNAS, flown in 1917 by Australia's leading ace, Robert Little. Buildng Blymp is a long running saga and shows that even I am subject to the ravages of AMS.
I think Stephen is coping a hard time at teh moment defending the almost indefensible over on another part of the forum.... In fact I must go over there now and add my next two cents (aud) worth
All the best

Thanks, Neil. I'd like to see pics of that Sopwith Tripe after you finish building it.

I would imagine that the great Stevereno is busy preparing the syllabus for our next course.... Oh, Steve? Must be in the cellar building another Dr1... or maybe a Spad.... or maybe a D-VII :
