JohnReid; The sweet thing about this kit is the brass is durable enough to work straight from the directions well. Its made to go together well. It is only when you decide to do a conversion like my AMS afflicted alter ego that you run into the really fun stuff that turns your hair grey.

Hi Stephen,
One of my local shops has this kit on the shelf. It went from being on display to being stuck in with the others. As this shop deals mainly in R/C models, I&#39;m surprised he had it at all. I&#39;ll wait a bit longer then offer to take it off his hands it at a reduced price. <_< Not that I need another kit to ponder over..........

A bit late noticing this, but the 2000 JPY equals about &#036;18.90 USD, courtesy of:

A rough estimate can be made by treating 1 Yen as 1¢.

Here is the snafu the 2000 is for ONLY for shipping. Each kit costs about 75.00 USD. Still thats better than the original &#036;106.00 I paid at the hobby shop. Caveat emptor&#33;&#33;&#33;&#33; BUYER BEWARE.

When I finished my version of 144/17 with half the fabric stripped away I was contracted to build a similar version on Voss' F.I 103/17 markings. Since these are not pending publishing here's a bit of fun. About 75% done.
