Greetings all;
Thanks JohnReid & Barker! The method for representing the fabric areas is two fold.

1. The 'covered' wings are from the same DML / Dragon kit. Note that on 144/17 the pilot's left side is covered. On 103/17 its the right side.

2. The fuselage is to be half covered 144/17 pilot's left and 103/17 will have the pilot's right covered. I begin with clear decal film sheet. First I airbrush it with CDL (clear doped linen.) Then (for 144/17) I shot a barrier of dull coat down and let dry. Then I dry brushed the decal sheet with drab earth / olive drab. For 103/17 after the CDL I let it dry and then shot it with lt. blue mix, then a clear barrier and let dry. Next I will dry brush that with drab earth / olive drab. When dry I cut out the fuselage and tailpane profiles and apply it to the airframe. Use the microsol and set and whalah! or Viola as the case may be. 144/17 is finished but the photos are tied up at a publisher for now. When 103/27 is done I will try to get some images up here.

JohnReid; Yes, the price is the largest stumbling block. But carrying the banner for the AMS afflicted who visit here I present the following images of the inprogress build of Fok. F.I 103/17. Enjoy!
