Everybody says that about the Lindberg. Hey , what do I know? I only got back into the hobby about two years ago - I thought it was a lovely kit. Easy to put together (certainly easier than the Fokker with which I started this thread) and frankly more enjoyable. I know, I know, I'm a philistine. I'm doing a Matchbox Walrus at the moment - I love easy kits!

Nice Models!

Some good modeling, also some great inspiration. Let us not forget that for many, many years Lindberg had the best 1/48th scale WWI model on the market, that was the Curtiss Jenny...

Thanks Marc. I think with basic kits like the Gladiator, it's kind of like a blank canvas. You can detail if you want to, or leave it simple. Although you can't see it from that shot, I busied up the cockpit quite a bit and it really added to an otherwise sparse office. I could have mucked around lowering flaps, ailerons, rudders, etc. but chose not to. I might try the Jenny one day, but they're not very common over here in the UK.
