Question LeRhone 80hp replacement

Who makes a 1/32 scale LeRhone 80hp engine?
I screwed mine up (Special Hobby Ni. 11) by dropping it while weathering (out side on the back porch) and one cylinder went pinging off into the yard....
So I need a new one....HELP!!!! (I'd like to have a new one anyway...the SH one wasn't well cast. But I could have made it work.)

Thanks,
John

Hi Poandneedy,

As far I know nobody makes a 1/32 80hp Le Rhone engine but Vector makes the 110hp version, perhaps you can use the cylinders or convert it to the 80hp configuration (exhaust in front). Here is the link:

Vector Scale Resin Model Engines

Or try to contact Special Hobby, they have and excellent customer service department, maybe they can send a replacement engine.

Cheers,

Claudio

Thanks Claudio,
I picked up a couple of metal 100hp Ober's from Tom's Modelworks...They look fine. Though I might just make the 11 a 16 and be done with it...ain't decided yet.
