Greetings Tom & Sreiko I got this from Orion miniatures on 5/2/08. If they send them I will review them.

"Hello Stephen,
I’d like to send you a copy of our most recent release of Staaken Lozenge. Where do I send them?

Thanks Derry"

High Price

Mein Gott! $79.95! That is incredible!

But wait a minute, that's for 6 (six) 6x9 sheets. So that's a little over $13.00 a sheet. That sounds more reasonable. Color matching five separate colors can be an expensive printing proposition.

Is six 6x9 sheets enough to cover a Staaken? I hope so.

I guess considering all the painstaking painting it will save you (and the fact the kit itself costs around $75.00) I suppose it could be argued that the cost is relational.

What say the collective brain?

It will take the better part of 5 sheets to cover the wings of an Staaken R.VI in 1/72.

But isn't that CDN Dollars?

I have a stupid question. Would this set of sheets also work for other aircraft? Are they Staaken specific colours and patterns? Or will they work for AEG's and Gothas?

Sorry, but I'm only just maturing into WW1 models after 20+ years of dare I say it F14s and F15s.

Thanks.

Greetings Adrian; No worries here it is from their website.

". . .Premium Decal Sheets

World War I Lozenge Sheets

These sheets are designed for all German Night Fighter, Bomber and Reconnaissance Aircraft in service after January 1918. These include Friedrichshafen, Gotha, A.E.G., LVG, SSW, Hannover and Albatros built Staaken aircraft.

These sheets are also applicable to Staaken 'L' Planes 8202 and 8203.

Greetings all;

The decal sheet (single) arived for my review and I will probably apply it to the spare undersurface wing sections of the Contrail build I did not use. Normally when you purchase these I believe they come six sheets to an order.
