Hi friends- it is walk away time. Well, kit is completely decaled and I will let it near window to dry. In few hours I will finaly paint details of machine gun, leather border around the pilot cockpit and spray with the final clear coat. Tomorrow is final- just few riging and this is it. This will take few hours as well I am very slow last time.

I have check out about the image and noted that in some reason color of the underside linen where is cross placed, more darker then original. But even the original is darker then the Taz noted. So I will keep this color as it is but I will state in the review on my web site that this color is incorect and that researcher from USA have found that this color is very pale. Taz- are you agree?

One note- Eduard give several incorect use of the small decals but al what have to do is to use other type instead the samples they are proposed. Also markings F.I is in correct size and proportin while the Dr.I are not.

Bob- you are very kind gentlemen and thank you for your kind words. BTW- I will need soon pack of your ultimate products

Here you are "final countdown" image.

Cheers

Hello, Sreiko,

This is turning out very well indeed: congratulations on a very good-looking model! I look forward to seeing the model in its finished state.

I will almost certainly be getting one of these...once they are available as individual kits!

Thank you Taz!!! I owe you detail of cowling to show you two data plate. Eduard did not provide this one so i have made one from piece of etcehd metal. I am very honored that you have monitor this model build and find this kit well done.

TP- this is very interesting aproach of Eduard to dedicate brand new kit to the pilot instead to launch it as sole product. I don't know how succesful this could be at market but for sure some experiment have to be made and make test of customers. I also wait for more releases and of course their great Weekend edition of this kit. This kit is made that could stand alone as weekend edition. More then great project in every aspect and do not hesitate to get more samples of this kit! This is not comercial- Eduard did made great job at all and best possible assembly project ever. if you have note all kit could be with no problem finished as separate assembly section and then join together. It is even possible to complete decal it and then final join the assemblies. Posibilities to do that give big value to the final appearance of the model and less time spent on masking and covering.

Cheers

Nice paint job Sreiko.

I don't think Eduard have got the "sit" right though...It looks a bit leggy to me.

As a comparison:

Sreiko,
I think Mr Bucky is saying that the undercarriage struts are a wee bit long, making the Dr.1 leggy

Precisely Bob!

The angle of the axle wing looks a bit suspect too.

Sreiko, I hasten to add, I'm not criticising your build in any way. All I would say is; compare the model with ANY photo of the F.I or Dr.I and see what you think.

Regards.

Bucky
